I hold a Kentucky K-12 Japanese Certificate. I have one year of classroom teaching experience in a public high school in Indiana, two years of classroom teaching experience in a public middle school in Kentucky, and one year of online tutoring experience. I live in Japan and tutor remotely using authentic educational materials, allowing me to demonstrate what Japanese is supposed to sound like. I strive to make learning fun for you or your student. I'm an easygoing, patient instructor who will spend as much time on pronunciation or writing Japanese characters as you would like me to. I also bring an extremely student-centered approach to every student I work with. I did so well on SAT Math that I didn't have to take mathematics in college and can serve as a math tutor if requested.
